why the blue lights are all out

I just found this pic from last December. Now the mystery is solved as to why most of the blue lights in the string are out.

I found this picture while looking through the many files we have of digital images. Times were simpler when Dylan was into blowing bubbles and looking content.

Dylan posed next to his favorite car: the Mini Cooper. There are many Mini's in our neighborhood, and a favorite game is "where are you, Mini?"
This picture is really for me. I have had troubles bundling this guy since he was born, and even keeping a blanket on him when he was just a few months old was tough. But yesterday we had such a breakthrough that he even let me put a scarf on him. Mind you, he is NOT wearing a coat. If you look closely, you can see him clutching a leaf in his right hand. Fall is great when it is not soggy.

Yesterday Dylan played with: Mya, Sidney, Chase and Tyler. They were very cute and I thought it was hilarious that Mya and Sidney posed the same in all the pictures with the head tilt. Dylan's pose was ultra-stoic, as usual, which makes his happy and light-hearted self surprising to those who have only seen him in pictures.

We all had a great time with the Lloyd family at Long Beach this past weekend. Dylan was in heaven and happy to be part of a pecking order with Caleb(5), Tommy(3) and Ellie(1). You can never have too many shovels when you are playing in the sand!
